Box Rocket NEW Exhibition at Discover Children’s Story Centre

Opening for the Easter holidays 2023, The Box Rocket invites you on an intergalactic mission in Stratford.

Launch your little one’s imagination with a new immersive exhibition at the Discover Children’s Story Centre. Take off in a homemade rocket ship for an intergalactic adventure to a peculiar planet with an important story mission to complete.

The Box Rocket has been created by Discover with award-winning illustrator Dapo Adeola, and author Tọlá Okogwu. Featuring the beloved character Rocket and her cat Luna from Nathan Bryon and Dapo Adeola’s award-winning and bestselling picture books Look Up! and Clean Up!

If you have yet to visit the Discover Children’s Story Centre, be prepared to be amazed. Their basement hosts the most incredible immersive exhibitions that are like stepping into a page inside your little one’s favourite stories. This exhibition will no doubt enthrall young visitors with something for everyone aged 0-8 years.

Alongside their immersive exhibitions, the Discover Children’s Story Centre regularly has storytelling and draw along sessions with authors and illustrators for school aged children during the school holidays. Their early year’s storytelling sessions are sensory delights for babies and under 5s. Afterward, you can run through their Story Worlds permanent exhibition or visit their incredible playground. Definitely one of the best places to visit with your family and a must on every little Londoner’s list of things to do before they start school.
