An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until March 17, 2022
Family Photography Course is an inclusive photography project to enable parents and their children (4-13 years old) with little or no experience of photography to start their own artistic practice while building their confidence.
What to expect
Using the participants’ own cameras (this includes a smart phone camera), this project aims to introduce children to the art of photography. Each session will start with an introduction to the photo adventure of the week, and a review of the previous weeks’ photos allowing each child to talk about their experiences. The sessions will be designed to incrementally build skills and confidence for both child and adult whilst having fun.
At the end of the 8-week course, we will have an exhibition at Poplar Union. Advance booking is essential.
