The lovely Loafing cafes can be found in Victoria Park village, Roman Road and Well Street Hackney.
About Loafing Cafes
Run and owned by East Londoner Susie Mc Duell and French-born Christophe Le Tynevez who supplies all the sites daily with freshly baked breads and French patisserie from his bakery Boulangerie Jade.
Grab your coffee to go (for now) all roasted locally in London Fields by Flying Horse.
Pick up loaves of Campaillette (rustic French stick made from wheat and sourdough) Campaillou (Rustic French bread made from five grain mixed flour and sourdough), ciabatta, focaccia, baguettes and more.
A selection of classic French cakes, tarts and pastries are also available daily, including St-Honoré (choux base filled with crème patissière, decorated with crème Chantilly, choux buns filled with crème patissière and fruits); Chocolatier (mousse of dark chocolate, honey and cinnamon, dark chocolate sponge and chocolate ganache on top); and Opera (layers of coffee biscuit joconde filled with coffee butter cream and chocolate ganache).
You can grab lunch-to-go as well, choosing from a daily selection of sandwiches, toasties and more.
Celebration Cakes at Loafing Cafes
Got a party coming up? Pre-order your show-stopping Boulangerie Jade celebration cakes at any of the cafes including croque on bouche – the traditional French Wedding cake made from tiered choux puffs and spun sugar.
