Camp Canary is here to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for reception age children this half term. Offering parents peace of mind after those anxious first days of school.
When a child takes their first steps into Reception, it can be an adjustment for the entire family. And just as your getting into the rhythm of the school run and your new routine, October Half Term throws another adjustment your way.
Camp Canary’s multi-activity holiday club, located in the Isle of Dogs, operates for thirteen weeks each year, spanning holidays and half terms.
Before Reception age children join Camp Canary, their dedicated staff take the time to ask a few questions to ensure a smooth and engaging transition. On the first day, both you and your child will receive a warm welcome, complete with a tour and introduction to Camp Canary’s dedicated key workers.
From that moment on, your child is all set and ready to embark on a journey of fun and learning! Each day follows a carefully structured timetable, giving children the opportunity to choose between two exciting activities during each session. And of course, there’s plenty of free play to let their imaginations soar!”
This year the camp will run from the 23rd -27th October from 9 am to 5 pm. Perfect for working parents, Camp Canary also opens early for breakfast club and late for pickups. Children can start as young as 4 if they have already started reception.
Older Siblings are Welcome Too
Camp Canary isn’t just for reception age children. Older children are welcome up to age 12 and sibling discounts are available. The activities are designed to be age appropriate so all children can engage in activities that are right for their development level.
