6 Dalston Pumpkins Returns
The Dalston Eastern Curve Garden is once again carving pumpkins with community groups for their annual display. There will also be a small number of sessions for other visitors to carve a pumpkin for display and carving enthusiasts are also invited to carve one at home to display with others in the garden. To enter the competition, share a photo with #dalstonpumpkins2023 on social media. Pumpkins will be on display from the 25th of October, with more turning up daily until All Hallow’s Eve. Last year there were 80 pumpkins and the atmosphere in the garden was spooktacular!

8 Halloween at The Tower of London
This October half term, explore the Tower’s rich history and embark on a Halloween ghost hunt. Encounter spectral figures gliding on staircases; a glimpse of a Tudor gown, a medieval queen sits upon her throne while vigilant Roman soldiers guard the London Wall for all eternity. The Wizard Earl concocts potions in his apothecary while spirits haunt in the shadows of the White Tower. A family-friendly adventure full of spooky fun. Track the ghosts you find with a provided trail, and remember, you see them, but they won’t see you… Don’t forget your proof of address for Tower Hamlets residents.

9 Halloween Festival Old MacDonald
Things are getting spooky at Old MacDonald’s Farm this Halloween with a Haunted House and Magic School. There will be scary stories and a ghost trail along with a pumpkin patch and animal talks with Sunny the Owl. Kids can get crafty with Artbound on the 21st-29th. Oh, and there’s a hair raising roller coaster!

10 Cut A Shine Halloween Ball Special
Get your folk on with Cut A Shine! Join the giddy fun of a Ceilidh at the Roundchapel with a Halloween theme. A live band on stage provides the music while a “Dance Caller”, calls out and teaches you all the moves from really easy dances for the smallest kids to a couple of proper ones for the grown ups. All ages and abilities are welcome and while the dances may be traditional, Cut a Shine welcomes families of all sizes, genders and ethnicities. Food and drink available. Soft play area of crawlers. This October half term, enjoy Covent Garden’s Halloween Trick or Treat Trail with the family.
