Kidslingo Fun French Classes for Kids aged 0-7 years

Parlez-vous Français? While learning another language is beneficial for all ages it’s much easier for very young children. Give your little one a head start with Kidslingo French classes for kids.

Kidslingo has three different age-appropriate French classes for kids aged 0-7 years that can help them learn to speak French as they grow.

Children absorb new words and mimic new sounds amazingly well so they pick up the vocab and pronunciation very quickly. By learning through play, they feel confident putting their new linguistic skills into practice.

Benefits of Learning Another Language

Kidslingo is a passionate believer in introducing children to languages from a young age, with research linking many benefits to the early uptake of a foreign language, not least a greater linguistic ability later in life.

As we grow older and become accustomed to the sound of our own native language, we start to lose the ability to hear and mimic the unfamiliar sounds of a foreign language. Becoming an expert in only our own language eventually closes down once receptive synapses and makes it difficult for our brains to accept different language structures.

Learning another language is not only great for conversing with people of other cultures and broadening our world view, but it is also excellent for understanding our own language better. Knowing the way another language works encourages us to examine our own language’s mechanics in a positive way. Bilingual children also tend to have more grey matter in their brains and statistically to do better on standardised tests.

Debbie who runs the Tower Hamlets Kidslingo Franchise, a mum of two herself, has spent most of her life studying and working with modern languages. A true Francophile, she has thoroughly loved living in France and has worked in the language industry for 20 years. It was the birth of her second child that brought her back to London where she discovered the Kidslingo family. Her favourite part of teaching French to children is watching their passion for language grow.
