6 Great Places to Take your Baby in East London

Wondering what to do with your baby now that lockdown is lifted? Check out our round-up East London Baby Classes. Great places to meet other mums and dads and bond with your baby.

1 Frog Prince

Kicking off on Monday with Frog Prince at Tiny Tigers (along the riverside of South Quay shopping plaza), a one-man band using over 10 different real instruments that children can touch and familiarise themselves with. A high energy event in green surroundings that will really get the kids moving and singing. There are two sessions 10am and 11am. Tiny Tigers also have a soft play and an imagination zone, a very welcoming place to hang out after the sessions.

On Tuesday and Friday at the same time Frog Prince is back at Spitalfields and Stepney City Farms. Our city farms are the perfect places to take your baby in East London. Ba Ba Black Sheep will really come alive for your little one when you visit the animals afterwards.

2. Piccolo

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the lovely V & A building in the surrounding of Victoria Park Piccolo takes place, its a super fun packed 45 minute drop in session for babies & toddlers featuring action songs, puppets, bubbles and musical instruments. The Toddler session is at 10am and music for babies at 11am. It’s £7 per child and £3 for Siblings.

3. School of Noise

The famous School of Noise will be running weekly morning classes in Hackney on Mondays and Poplar on Wednesdays.

Listen & Play is a new class for babies and toddlers aimed at helping them to develop their listening skills. As they begin their journey through the sonic world around them, these sessions provide the perfect place to explore and play.

Listen & Play is intended to be a space that is also fun and interesting for parents as well as children. Lots of the music played won’t be traditional children’s music, there will also be opportunities to dance and move to the sounds and play on a selection of musical instruments.




The very popular Mudlarks children’s gallery at the Museum of London Docklands will reopen after over a year of closure on Friday 21 May. The gallery has been refurbished and a new toddler area has been created to welcome our youngest visitors. Features include new interactive elements that introduce the stories of the docks in hands-on and stimulating ways. Its open daily from 10am-5pm but you will have to book a timed session.

5. ME Weekend

Working parents often miss out on activities with their little ones. So this fun day in Hackney Wick is the perfect weekend activity for your baby in East London. The studio offers you the chance to take a little time for yourself and your little one the opportunity to explore, learn and create.

Every Saturday  9 am – 12:30pm or 1:30pm – 5pm  drama, crafts, yoga and more, all led by experienced professionals from their respective fields.

Drama Workshops, Arts & Crafts and Yoga & Mindfulness.

4 x 3.5hr sessions £200 every month.

6. Ánimo Yoga

Looking for postnatal yoga classes for you and your baby in East London?
