Mini Musical Theatre
Mini Musical theatre covers all of the core subjects for older children carefully condensed for children ages 2.5-4 years. The classes will guide little ones as they explore their dramatic repertoire. Singing and dancing their little hearts out!
It’s not all a song and dance routine though. Mini Musical Theatre classes help children build confidence while improving coordination and language skills. Most importantly, your children will have loads of fun making new friends and exploring their creativity. Each course of mini-musical theatre features the below elements of the performing arts but is carefully condensed into a shorter class for younger attention spans.
- Drama (role play, improvisation, games),
- Singing
- Dance
- Linguistic, confidence, balance and spatial awareness skills
- Fun, games and play

Dance and Theatre Classes for Older Children
For ages 4 and up, Pollyanna offers a Musical Theatre course that focuses on dancing, singing, and acting. Children will explore different dance styles such as Tap, Ballet and Jazz. They’ll also learn voice and microphone techniques, improvisation and presentation. Courses are designed to develop a new generation of actors, singers and dancers. Students enjoy a sense of achievement as their confidence grows along with their social skills. Children will be allocated age category group classes, activities will be tailored to suit ability
Musical Theatre Classes Include:
- Script reading and text work
- Games and techniques to build or channel confidence
- Rehearsal for two full productions each year (usually held in Summer & Winter)
- Learn to develop and research characters
- Improvisation, games and role play
- Drama, singing, dance
- Group singing classes covering all styles from pop to musical theatre and more
- Dance – warm up, learn routines and different styles of movement and choreography

Tap Dancing
Children can learn tap steps for beginners right through to intermediate level.

LAMDA
