St Katharine Docks’ Floating Film Festival

Enjoy a fun family matinee or evening screening at the Floating Film Festival at St Katharine Docks

Looking for things to do with the family this summer? You can’t go wrong with St Katharine Docks Floating Film Festival. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, there is so much to do in the area and after a day of sightseeing, chilling out with a good film can make for a perfect family day out in East London.

St. Katharine Docks welcomes back its Floating Film Festival to kickstart a sizzling London summer

St. Katharine Docks announces that the much anticipated Floating Film Festival will return this summer, with a fortnight of outdoor film screenings on the floating pontoon kicking off on Tuesday 13th July.

Visitors are invited to relax on a balmy summer evening at the outdoor, covered location and enjoy any one of the Festival’s packed schedule of films, taking place from 13th-25th July. There is something for everyone to enjoy, with Oscar-winning hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, critically acclaimed flicks like Rocketman and Knives Out, as well as family favourites like Toy Story 4 and The Lion King Live Action, all waiting to welcome audiences.

Screenings will begin at 7pm throughout the week, with two additional screenings at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, giving plenty of opportunity to enjoy a unique film festival experience this summer with family and friends at Central London’s only marina.

Guests are invited to sit back, relax and enjoy their chosen film on cosy two-seater sofas and deckchairs, lounging right at the water’s edge. As one of The Docks’ most loved events and unlike any other film festival in London, visitors are advised to book early.

Tickets are £15 per person for a single deckchair, and £30 for a two-seater sofa. The full programme of films can be found below, and tickets are now available to book online here.
