The Brainiac's madcap performance packed with awe inspiring science is back with Brainiac Live - A group of men and one women in lab coats gather round and experiment with billowing greein and yellow clouds

Our Review of Brainiac Live 2024 – An Explosively Brilliant Day Out!

Do your children love things that go BANG!? Take them to see Brainiac Live this summer. This truly entertaining performance will captivate them so much that they’ll forget they are doing any “science learning” at all.

What to do with two 9-year-old boys who are growing increasingly sophisticated in their appetite for fun? It had to be cool and exciting lest we hear a chorus of I’m bored or, when can we go home and game? Seriously, it’s hard to please these guys.

Having been a fan of the TV show for years, I’ve always enjoyed how the Brainiacs have pushed the boundaries of science and made learning fun. So, I thought Brainiac Live would be a pretty good bet.

Since 2008, Brainiac Live! has played to packed houses across the UK, headlining top science festivals as well as entertaining and educating hundreds of thousands of children and their families across the globe.

I am pleased to say Brainiac Live totally delivered. The boys were laughing and getting stuck into the antics immediately. The cast Andy Joyce, Richard Ede, Rick Warren and Tracy Rahi were brilliant at conjuring up excitement and curiosity and rewarding us with hilarious chuckles. Stirring suspense as we all waited with bated breath for the next big bang, this time thinking: “I can do this, I’m not going to jump six feet in the air in shock- I am composed. I’m ready.” only to be propelled out of our seats once again.

Brainiac Live promises the greatest and most volatile live show set to blow minds both young (and old). It is a fascinating tour of the weird and wonderful world of chemistry and physics. There’s an exciting element of danger although parents can rest easy knowing that all precautions have been taken to ensure audience safety. Children don’t have to know that though! Mwah ha ha ha! Just makes it more fun right?

But really, your kids will love exploding dustbins, supercharged spinning chairs and live daredevil stunts, all those things too dangerous for home or school! The show moves at a pace for 1 hour with no intermission so make sure you’re all fed, watered and relieved before you sit in your seat because you really don’t want to miss a moment of this brilliant show!

A great choice for the discerning tween, Brainiac Live is running for 4 weeks this Summer at the Marylebone Theatre. It took us 45 minutes to get there on the underground from Bow.
