East London Holiday Camp | Art & Circus at The Art Imaginarium

Make this summer one to remember at the Art Imaginarium’s creative holiday camp in East London, designed to inspire kids aged 4 – 11.

The Art Imaginarium runs bespoke art and circus workshops with elements of well-being and mindfulness, bringing more creativity, confidence, fun, play and well-being to every child and giving them a creative, dynamic and fun-filled day.

If your kids love to make, imagine and explore but you’d rather not clean up the mess, this holiday camp is the perfect solution – all the more so with easy-to-access locations in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, and late pick-up available until 5.30pm! Each week is centred around a different theme, so no two workshops are the same and children are always creating something new and interesting.

Disney Fun All Summer Long

The theme for this Summer will be Disney Stories. Each week promises fun-filled days where the children will get stuck into everything from an Up flying house, Moana’s Heart of Te Fiti in a decorative box, a Monsters, Inc. Sulley furry teddy, an Encanto magic house, a Minions mask, a Toy Story Mr Potato Head game, a Frozen Olaf clay creation, and a Tangled painting of Rapunzel’s floating lights, and much more!

Art, Circus and Confidence-Building Play

Throughout the week the children make a variety of unique and ambitious artwork while building creative skills, circus skills and confidence in their own abilities. They will experience everything from:

  • Creating unique artwork and learning new creative skills
  • Learning how to use different circus equipment
  • Improving their creative confidence
  • Understanding the basics of mindfulness and some exercises to do at home
  • Playing lots of games, with the chance to lead games
  • Enjoying a show from a real-life circus performer

The week finishes on a high with an end-of-week party of circus skills, treasure hunts, musical statues and bumps, face painting, a party bag and a show from a real-life circus performer – a joyful end to a week of play, creativity, circus and well-being.

Founded in Hackney, Loved by East London Families

The Art Imaginarium was founded in Dalston by Catherine Embleton, an artist and educator with a background in theatre design, after she saw a need for a genuinely creative, caring holiday camp for children in Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Drawing on her love of art and circus, she built a programme that nurtures creativity while helping children feel confident, calm and supported.

Creativity and Well-Being at the Heart of the Camp

The camp places equal value on creative expression and emotional well-being. Through guided activities, children are encouraged to slow down, trust their ideas and enjoy the moment – building confidence they can carry long after the holidays end.

Safety First: Peace of Mind for Parents

Parents can book with confidence knowing that:

  • There are two safeguarding leads on site
  • Two qualified first aiders are present
  • All staff are fully DBS-checked
  • The adult-to-child ratio is a maximum of 1:8
