October half term is almost upon us, and with it, many weeks to keep the kids entertained. One of the most enriching options is The Strings Club where every morning begins with sessions on guitar, violin, or ukulele and afternoons are filled with bespoke age-appropriate activities designed by a qualified teacher.

Parents can enjoy the convenience of holiday camps in East London boroughs Bow, Hackney Wick, Dalston, Walthamstow, Islington, and Greenwich.

The Strings Club includes free instrument hire, allowing your child to take their instrument home to show you what they’ve been learning.

Award Winning Holiday Camps

Founded by Amy Cunningham, a mum determined to create holiday childcare parents could trust and kids would love, The Strings Club has hit the perfect note. Rated Platinum on Feefo with an outstanding 4.8 score, the camps have kept families coming back since 2012!

Afternoon workshops are carefully-curated by their activities leader who packs in the fun with diverse activities including sport, drama, dance, art, wellbeing and more! You can download a full timetable on their website.

October camp workshop highlights include: KPop Demon Hunter music and craft workshops, a super-fun Monster Mash dance session, an obstacle course full of spooky twists and turns, creating shadow puppets with personality and adding live soundtracks, Diwali-inspired art and music, crafting colourful flags inspired by international autumn festivals and then creating bold, brassy fanfares to march with them!

Each day is built around the concept of their “Four Key Areas of Development”. These areas include: Music-Based Skills & Knowledge, Communication & Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social, & Emotional Development.
