If you’re looking for a holiday camp for the Easter Holidays, The Strings Club is back with music-based camps across East London venues, including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Walthamstow and Greenwich.
Designed for children aged 4–11, the camps mix music sessions with creative activities, games and plenty of time away from screens. For many parents in East London, they’re a good option if you want something enriching but still playful during the school holidays.
Founded by mum and entrepreneur Amy Cunningham, who knows exactly what parents need from their holiday camp, Strings Club Easter Holiday camps offer a safe, flexible, Ofsted-registered and SEN-friendly environment.
What children can expect
Each week has a theme designed to provide a memorable holiday experience. Your children can build confidence, explore their creativity and make new friends within a supportive space.
- Movie Music Magic (30 March – 2 April) – In Movie Music Magic, campers enjoy Disney rhythm parties, superhero obstacle courses, galactic dance battles, and joyful singalongs that build teamwork and coordination. Art and imagination take centre stage as children create dragons, fantasy creatures, movie-inspired worlds, and sound-inspired paintings, exploring how music can become colour, movement, and storytelling. Performance and discovery continue with red-carpet role play, soundtrack detective games, K-Pop inspired creativity, calming yoga, and cinematic world-building.
- Space Adventures (7 – 10 April) – Children are invited on an out of this world intergalactic journey whermusic, rhythm, and play combine for a cosmic experience. Younger campers aged 4–7 explore playful activities such as space-themed yoga and creative galaxy painting, while older children tackle musical puzzles, decode the language of rhythm and notes, and take part in energetic team games with a cosmic twist. Across the week, all children discover the powerful role of music in storytelling, seeing how epic soundtracks bring adventures to life.
Across the week, children take part in arts and crafts, drama, dance, sports and wellbeing activities, alongside music sessions.
