Step into a summer of music, movement and imagination, where children unplug from their devices, reconnect with the world around them, and truly shine. Designed for children aged 4–11, our award-winning, music-led camps mix instrument sessions with creative activities, games and plenty of time to spend, as my 11-year-old would say, IRL. For many parents in East London, The Strings Club is a great option if you want something enriching but still playful during the school holidays.
Founded by mum and musician Amy Cunningham, who knows exactly what parents need from a holiday camp, The Strings Club is built on a simple belief: when children recharge through music, creativity and play, they don’t just stay busy over the holidays — they thrive. The camps offer a safe, flexible, Ofsted-registered and SEN-friendly environment, and they’re 5★-rated and loved by families across London, the Midlands and Warwickshire.
Every week is a brand new adventure, with themes including: Mysterious Magic, On-Stage Superstars, Fun in the Sun, Music Heroes, Disney Pixar: Movies We Love, Pop Star Power Week, Let’s Get Active!, and Fantasy & Adventure.
Through carefully designed, screen-free activities, children develop:

Each day is thoughtfully curated by The Strings Club in-house Activities Manager, a qualified primary teacher (with an Education PhD in progress):
• Mornings 🎻🎸: Guitar, violin or ukulele sessions led by inspiring strings teachers and musicians, with instruments ready to take home for 2+ day bookings!
• Afternoons 🎨🎭 : High-energy, hands-on themed workshops in sport, drama, dance and art, all linked to the week’s exciting theme
By the end of the week, you’ll get to see your little one proudly perform at one of their Grand Concerts! Showing you not just what they’ve learned, but how much fun they’ve had with their new friends.
