With branches in West India Quay, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf and The City and the once cult Soho pizzeria joint Pizza Pilgrims has become a firm family friendly pizza favourite for East London Parents.
Pizza Pilgrims Coming to Shoreditch – A Pizza Worth the Pilgrimage
The Pizza Pilgrims have developed a loyal following for their proper Neapolitan pizzas – bases are made by hand and proved for 24-48 hours, then topped with Fior Di Latte cow’s milk mozzarella (flown in from Italy) for that perfect ‘stringiness’ and cooked at over 460C to ensure their traditionally high crusted Neapolitan bases.
Signatures on the menu include Portobello Mushroom & Truffle; Smoked Napoli and N’duja (spicy Calabrian sausage) pizza but they also do the kid friendly classics too.
As well as pizzas, tuck into Crust Dippers, Prosciutto Pops, and Tiramisu.
Kid’s meals are moderately priced at £6.95 and options include a pizza, juice, and scoop of nutella ice cream. Their menu comes with instructions to make a hat and QR codes to play old school games like Pacman and Space Invaders.
