Building on from the success of their weekend Forest Schools, Greenways offers a fun, engaging and adventurous Holiday Club in Hackney. Children aged 4-10 will love getting stuck into bushcraft and creative play in Wick Woodland during the school holidays.
Every day the children will learn something new, whether that’s woodwork, whittling, campfire cooking, fire lighting, team games, or environmental care, your child will leave with new skills, a smile on their face, and mud on their knees!
Self Guided play and learning at Greenways Forest School
At Greenways Forest School, children are encouraged to forge their own path and have the freedom to play how they choose. Climbing trees, swinging from tree swings, making mud pies, building dens or relaxing in hammocks, there’s always something for them to do. Forest School practitioners are there to guide them and help them explore their environment learning about their surroundings as their curiosity takes them.
Numerous studies show that exposure to the endless possibilities only nature can provide helps children encounter new opportunities for decision making that stimulate problem solving and creativity.
The team at Greenways Forest School are all DBS checked forest school practitioners who are passionate about helping children get back into nature and connect with their wildling selves.
No two sessions are the same, the only constant is the smiling faces and muddy knees that will greet you at the end of the day!
