New Saturday Forest School for 2-4 year olds
Your little ones will love mucking about with activities like bug hunts, mud kitchens and forest games at Greenways Forest School in Hackney Wick.
In the naturally sensory environment of Wick Woods, children learn more about the world around them and about themselves, helping their brains develop holistically.
The team at Greenways are passionate about helping young children see all the invitations to play that the natural world provides.
Each week your kids will explore their senses and their surrounding environment while they build up gross and fine motor skills. Growing more confident and independent as they go.

Sessions for ages 4+

Developing a respect for nature and learning to care for the creatures they share their space with by building bug hotels, bird feeders, and nests.

Children learn about the trees that live in the forest by making woodland crowns, leaf art, and nature trails. They learn self-reliance and handy skills like how to put up a shelter. The team will guide the children as they learn how to: source the equipment, tie the required knots, keep the shelter tight, safely use tools to make pegs from sticks, and to work as a team.
Creativity gone wild!
Along with bushcraft skills children will also have fun creating masterpieces by making paintbrushes using the woodland materials around them, making mud faces, and leaf printing.
