Phantom Peak Fun for You and the Kids in East London

Would you like to do something that’s just as fun for you as it is for the kids in East London this Spring? We couldn’t recommend Phantom Peak more highly, especially for kids who are getting a bit older. We had a blast with our 8 year old.

Check out our reel and read on to find out what it’s all about.

This unique family outing combines immersive storytelling and interactive mysteries for a brilliant day out with the kids in East London. While Phantom Peak caters to adults, we highly recommend bringing the kids along to experience this whimsical steampunk-inspired frontier town right in Canada Water.

We embarked on our journey to Phantom Peak to check out their Wintermas festivities, and we were delighted by our day out! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the meticulous attention to detail that makes every corner of this theme park pique your curiosity while amusing you with little absurdities. It’s the kind of place where you could visit a dozen times and still discover something new with each visit.

The world of Phantom Peak changes with the seasons too and for each visit, you have the opportunity to engage in multiple adventures and solve intriguing mysteries, each with its own plot which you access on your smartphone. Our plot thickened as we wandered through the village, immersed in a world where every interaction felt like a scene from a movie. From deciphering cryptic clues to unravelling enigmatic puzzles, there was never a dull moment.

What truly sets Phantom Peak apart is its ability to cater to both adults and children alike. While the experience is undoubtedly geared towards adult entertainment (there’s a saloon that serves shots and some of the jokes will go right over children’s heads), it maintains a welcoming atmosphere that is fine for families. Kids will delight in conversing with character actors and exploring the intricacies of the village, while toddlers and babies can enjoy interactive screens and buttons. We loved looking in the phantom mirror and decoding mysteries together. The production quality is truly amazing for something that undergoes frequent transformation!

Despite the occasional dark undertone and gory detail, the atmosphere remains light-hearted and whimsical. We saw lots of parents having a great time with little ones in tow and noted that there were baby changing facilities on-site but do take care near the water features. Make sure to bring an adult to enjoy some of the more mature humour as well.

The village also boasts delectable burgers, refreshing drinks, and a variety of games to keep the fun going long after the mysteries have been solved.

As we bid farewell to Wintermas, we eagerly anticipate the return of Phantom Peak with new mysteries waiting to be unravelled. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a first-time visitor, be sure to bring your sense of humour, get dressed up, and fully immerse yourself in the experience.

In the words of one young adventurer, “That was the best Santa’s Grotto ever!” Needless to say, we’ll be returning to Phantom Peak for many more adventures to come.

Congratulations to the team behind Phantom Peak for crafting such an exceptional and unforgettable experience. Until next time!
