Designed for children aged 4–11, the camps mix music sessions with creative activities, games and plenty of time to unplug and spend time in, as my 11-year-old would say, IRL. For many parents in East London, the Strings Club are a great option if you want something enriching but still playful during the school holidays.
Founded by mum and entrepreneur Amy Cunningham, who knows exactly what parents need from their holiday camp, Strings Club May Half Term camps offer a safe, flexible, Ofsted-registered and SEN-friendly environment.
The May Half Term theme is: Wizards & Wonders. 🪄
From crafting wizarding creations to exploring magical soundtracks, children will enjoy screen-free adventures designed to:
- Spark Confidence through creativity and self-expression
- New friendships and a sense of belonging
- Imagination and curiosity
- Build focus, resilience, and emotional well-being – all benefits research shows music can support
Each day is thoughtfully curated by our in-house Activities Manager, a qualified primary teacher (with an Education PhD in progress):
• Mornings 🎻🎸: Guitar, violin or ukulele sessions led by inspiring strings teachers and musicians, with instruments ready to take home for 2+ day bookings!
• Afternoons 🎨🎭 : interactive themed workshops including sport, drama, dance, and art.
By the end of the week, children stand taller, prouder – and our Grand Concerts show not just what they’ve learned, but how much fun they’ve had with their new friends.
Across the week, children take part in arts and crafts, drama, dance, sports and wellbeing activities, alongside music sessions.
